‘Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance’ videos: See Stephen Fishbach, Ciera Eastin at Ponderosa

“Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance” had itself a heck of a double-episode event this week, didn’t they? Usually this would be when we put up our exit interviews with the eliminated castaways, but thanks to the fact that today is Thanksgiving (everyone have a great one!), we’re going to be talking to Stephen Fishbach and Ciera Eastin on Monday. Given that they’re two of our favorite strategists of the modern era, this is almost an early gift to kick off the holiday season. (Then again, it would’ve been even more of a gift in the event that the show gave us this a few weeks later than they did.)

So we wanted to give you something “Survivor”-related to talk about still today, so why not the latest videos from Ponderosa?

Ciera Eastin – You gotta love how Ciera just comes right out of the game and seems to be mostly fine with everything. We’re not sure we would want to play with her if we were out there, but we mean that as a compliment to knowing what she’s capable of. With that, though, we would hope that we would be just like her if we were eliminated rather than Savage and Kelly Wiglesworth, who come across as somewhat pouty in this video. We understand that she was a big part in getting them out, but she wasn’t the only part! She didn’t have anything to do with Wentworth playing her idol, for example, and Stephen seemed to be leading the charge against Kelly.

Stephen Fishbach – Stephen’s video is another reminder of why we love him as entertainment, but there’s some valuable info in here as he realizes for the first time that it was Spencer who really put the knife in his back more than anyone else. Also, his conversation with Kass is pure gold, as he compares himself to Varys to her Cersei Lannister. We’re bummed that Kass was voted out so early, but she is almost the perfect Ponderosa ambassador this season. You want someone in this role who will put the game behind them and have a little fun with the players.
