‘Talking Dead’ spoilers: Gale Anne Hurd, Ken Jeong, two surprise guests join Chris Hardwick

Before we say much of anything else when it comes to this weekend’s new episode of “Talking Dead,” let’s start off here with sharing the bad news: You’re still going to have to wait until around 11:00 p.m. Eastern time to see the “Walking Dead” aftershow come on the air.

Yes, AMC is still giving “Into the Badlands” its test run in that spot, and while we understand why they want to expose the show to as great an audience as possible, we still worry about whether or not you run the risk of it being a symbol of rage among many diehard fans. You want people to associate it with goodness, not with impatience!

Anyhow, when the show comes on the air tonight you may have many reasons to watch. You’re going to get some great behind-the-scenes insight from executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, and then also some fun courtesy of “Community” and “Dr. Ken” star Ken Jeong. As for if there are any “surprise guests” tonight, AMC is hyping up two of them.

Does this mean that we could finally be getting our Steven Yeun appearance / explanation? We really hope so, given that there is only so long that you can keep people waiting for answers, and we imagine that there will be torches and pitchforks if this is not at least addressed by the time we get around to the midseason finale. There are of course other candidates as well, given that there is always a good chance that another character will die or someone will be at the center of a huge story.
