‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 10 video: Gibbs and Bishop head to Oklahoma

While we have known for a while that Bishop would be heading to Oklahoma for Tuesday night’s new episode of “NCIS” entitled “Blood Brothers,” who knew that Gibbs was going to be heading there with her?

The new promo below makes it clear that both Mark Harmon and Emily Wickersham are going to be spending time with Lindsay Wagner, who is playing the part of Bishop’s mom back in her home state. She ventured there for Thanksgiving after learning the devastating news about her husband’s infidelity, and is obviously looking for some sort of escape for the time being.

So why is Gibbs there? We know that’s a question worth asking, given that there are not too many cases revolving around the Navy in the middle of America. We’re not entirely sure that he went out there just for Bishop, but it is certainly possible if he really does value her and what she brings to the team. More than anything, he seems to be trying to get her to express her anger and true state of feelings over the situation, and that is not something that comes easy to her.

Then again, if anyone knows something about having a hard time expressing feelings, it is Gibbs. Bishop is right to call him out on this in the promo, and who knows? Maybe it takes something like her being in such a situation for him to want to confront some of his own problems? It would at least add another layer of complexity to what is already a different, potentially-interesting story.
