‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 7 preview: Is Patty about to learn the truth?

Grodd is coming to “The Flash” on Tuesday night, and with that, we’re also going to get a chance to see everyone’s reaction to him … including that of people who have yet to interact with the evil gorilla before.

In the sneak peek below, you really start to get the sense that Patty Spivot is about to learn a thing or two more about what is really going on. How long can Barry and company really keep her in the dark? On the surface, we understand the desire to try to protect her, but you have to remember that she is on the meta-human task force, and she wants to do her part to help stop things like Grodd or people with powers from coming in and wrecking havoc in Central City. She wants to be at the forefront of the action, doing what she can in order to be a hero for the city.

As far as the rest of the clip, we find the part about Cisco at the end incredibly hilarious, where he comes in to reveal that Caitlin Snow actually slapped him in the face! Did she do it willingly? Probably not. Our guess is that Grodd, whose telekinetic powers have probably improved since we last saw him, probably made her do it. We know that at some point in this hour Grodd is going to develop a little bit of a King Kong complex, capturing Caitlin and forcing everyone else to try and rescue her.
