‘Dancing with the Stars 21’ preview: Will Alek Skarlatos, Carlos PenaVega be eliminated before finale?

We suppose that the question that many really should be asking going into Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars” results show is if there will be an elimination more so than anything else. At the moment, it’s far from confirmed that there will be.

If we had to guess, we’d actually say that tonight will be a non-elimination since the show would probably prefer to enter the finale with four people, have an elimination during the Monday show, and then another one on Tuesday before the final two competes for the title.

Right now, we are the most worried about Alek Skarlatos & Lindsay Arnold and Carlos PenaVega & Witney Carson, mostly for a combination of lower scores and past results reveals. There’s never been a time where we’ve seen either Nick Carter & Sharna Burgess or Bindi Irwin & Derek Hough in jeopardy, so we have to think that these are the two destined to really compete for the Mirrorball Trophy.

The big news here for all of the remaining Stars is that they’ve all gotten to a point where they should get something out of this. We’re not entirely sure in particular what Skarlatos’ career will be after this, but he at least should have some opportunities thrown in his direction. Meanwhile, Carlos is looking to continue his music career, and this show has won him new fans. While not everyone comes out of the show with a huge boost to their celebrity, it rarely ever hurts.
