‘Shark Tank’ review: Savvy Naturals, Simply Fit Board, Wink Frozen Desserts, Clean Cube

Shark Tank -Friday night’s new episode of “Shark Tank” is an episode stuffed full of ways to look good and feel good. You’ve got an exercise routine, new beauty supplies, and a low-calorie treat that puts a major twist on ice cream. We’ve got our quick-take on all of these products, complete with whenever or not these brands got a deal from the Sharks. Be sure to refresh through the episode for more updates!

Wink Frozen Desserts – Is this a good replacement for ice cream? The biggest problem with food is that it really has to be tasty. Apparently, this wasn’t according to the Sharks. That’s a shame. We really thought this could be a winner since everything sounded good on paper (including the flavors), but apparently it wasn’t. This is sometimes what happens when you have something that is so health-conscious you start to lose sight of everything else. No deal.

Savvy Naturals – Can these revolutionize the soap industry, or at least add to it? Here’s the thing: We do think that this is a good product, but they’ve got a ton of debt, and they also are very interested in retaining majority control in their business after a previous one went south. The one thing that gave them a swimming chance with the Sharks was mostly the fact that there was an untapped market online. They went with Barbara Corcoran, who does think that she can turn this company around.

Clean Cube – Can this actually be a convenient addition to apartment buildings? We do think there is a practical use for this, given that it is a convenient way to replace a doorman. It’s almost like a modern-day mailbox for apartment buildings. We don’t buy their expansion plan entirely, but the biggest problem with this storage / delivery console service is merely that this business is far too early. There’s not enough proof of concept. No deal.

Simply Fit Board – Is this a great workout routine, or yet another one doomed to fail? The Sharks loved it, and really from the moment that the pitch was over, it was clear what was going to happen. There was no other option. Without there being anything altogether proprietary about this, it needs QVC and to sell quickly. That is what Lori Greiner is for.
