‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: How will Caitlin Snow connect with new Harrison Wells?
How important is Dr. Snow going to be to keeping a certain newcomer from Earth-2 around?
Before you start to think that we are talking any sort of romantic connection between Caitlin and Harry 2.0 on “The Flash,” think again. For this article, what we are instead talking about is how it turns out that Danielle Panabaker’s doctor and potential Killer Frost (at least someday) could be the one who ensures that Tom Cavanagh stays a part of the show in the near future.
Speaking on this subject to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg explains that much of the reason why Caitlin is the perfect liaison-of-sorts between the new Harrison and the other members of STAR Labs in the quest to stop Zoom is due to her maturity, and her ability to understand that while they may be somewhat traumatized by Eobard and also put off by new Harry’s demeanor, this is someone whose benefits far outweigh his headaches:
“The person with whom he ironically finds the most common ground with is Caitlin … There’s a lot of stuff in upcoming episodes where there’s a lot of hurt feelings, obviously on Barry’s part, Joe’s part and Cisco’s part. We collectively decided that Caitlin would be the one who was able to — because Caitlin is more mature that everyone else there — both [see] the necessity for including him in things, and is also the one who has grown up enough that she can look past it and see that making a connection with him has value.”
Over the coming weeks, you will start to understand more of who this Harrison is, including what motivates him beyond what we saw with his daughter at the end of this past episode. It’s yet another thing to look forward to in what is a topsy-turvy season so far.
