‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12, episode 7 preview: Chandra Wilson, Jessica Capshaw’s stories in ‘Something Against You’

Grey's AnatomyThursday night’s “Grey’s Anatomy” story was one that mostly continued the “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” storyline with Penny going to the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, so where are we going to be heading moving forward?

It’s wrong to say that we are going to take a complete left turn next week with “Something Against You,” but the synopsis below does suggest that there will be other characters put in the spotlight. Specifically, Chandra Wilson and Jessica Capshaw could have some good material to work with as they deal with some varying degrees of relationship problems:

“The team of doctors work on a high stakes case of a long time patient, adding additional pressure to an already tense environment. Meanwhile, Bailey wants Ben to kick out their new roommate, and Arizona is eager to get back into the dating world with a new wingman.”

Does this sound fun to anyone else? Well, at least the Arizona part of the story does. When it comes to Meredith, what we’re wondering more is whether or not she can really keep her philosophy towards Penny the same moving forward, and if Callie and Penny can also keep their own relationship on steady ground. So far, Callie has been fairly sympathetic as to her situation given the circumstances, but this will be a burden on her as her girlfriend tries more and more to fit in to the hospital.

This is far from the end of the show’s fall ran, so be prepared for everything that occurs here to carry into the story moving forward.
