‘The Originals’ season 3, episode 5 video: Klaus and Elijah play the sire game

Should we really even be calling it a “game” at all? We’re not so sure on that, but what we can say right now with a little bit of confidence is that the next new episode of “The Originals” airing on The CW Thursday night is going to be all sorts of chaotic, and for a variety of different reasons.

We begin here with the simple fact that Klaus has already been dealing with the threat of a sire, and now there is much more starting to come at him. This scene is almost him and Elijah trading battle scars, and trying to determine what they are going to do about the wide array of complications that are coming in their direction.

Luckily, these two brothers have shown themselves to be rather resourceful to date, and they will continue to be in order to continue staying afloat. For Klaus, Aurora could end up becoming somewhat of a surprise threat. She is someone who has a deeper history with him than most, given how cold-blooded and heartless he can often be. She also may know his weaknesses and how to look further into them.

As for Elijah, his life remains somewhat of a juggling act trying to be the more responsible of the two brothers, caring for himself while making sure that terrible things do not befall those he cares about. Sometimes, he does ahve to use drastic measures in order to ensure the safety of these said people.
