Is ‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9, episode 7 new tonight on CBS? Also, new preview!

Big Bang -

Let us start this particular preview for “The Big Bang Theory” with some rather sad news: There is no new episode airing on CBS. As a matter of fact, there will not be on CBS for the remainder of the season. The network has moved it back to its typical timeslot Thursday night, with the biggest reason being thanks to Thursday Night Football going off the air. At this point, there is no real reason for the show to continue airing on this spot.

When the show does return, it will be doing so with an episode entitled “The Spock Resonance,” which is a tribute in many ways to the late Leonard Nimoy. His son Adam is appearing in the episode, and if you haven’t seen the synopsis below just yet, it gives you some added insight:

“While being interviewed for a documentary about Spock from “Star Trek,” Sheldon struggles to suppress his emotions about his recent break-up with Amy.  Also, Wolowitz and Bernadette butt heads over remodeling his childhood home.”

The preview below is not the most extensive one that you have ever seen in terms of story; as a matter of fact, it really gives you no sense at all as to what the upcoming story is going to be. Instead, it mostly serves the following purposes: Reminding you that the show is on a new night, and also giving you quick taste of Wil Wheaton. It only makes sense to have someone else from the “Star Trek” universe appearing on the show given the subject matter.
