‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 5 preview: Barry, Joe have a heart-to-heart on Dr. Wells

It has to be hard for Barry Allen to even think about Dr. Wells, let alone see the man enter the same room as him. Yet, this is precisely the position that we are in going into Tuesday night’s all-new episode of “The Flash” on The CW.

In the video below, Grant Gustin and Jesse L. Martin’s characters try to make sense of this man’s arrival into this world, and what exactly it means. For Barry, he admits that he is struggling a little bit with the temptation to just clock this guy, mostly because of what he knows him to be. After all, you do have to remember here that this is someone who killed his mother … or at least the Earth-1 version did. Earth-2 Dr. Wells claims to have information that may be handy of the group at STAR Labs wants to defeat Zoom, and on the surface, he may not be nearly as malevolent as the one who was really Eobard Thawne in disguise.

Figuring out just how to trust and handle this new Harrison is not going to be an easy thing for the gang to handle, and this is made for the most part even worse by the fact that this Dr. Wells is not exactly an easy person to get along with. Harrison 1.0 pretended at least to be nice and caring during the early days; this guy is full of himself and really a lot to deal with.

We’ll be back on Tuesday night with a further review of this episode of “The Flash.” Hopefully, we will understand new Harrison’s motivation better then!
