‘The Last Ship’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Law & Order’ alum signs up as Chief of Staff
Is it possible that we could be seeing even more politics on the upcoming third season on “The Last Ship“? It certainly seems that way.
According to a new report from Deadline, Elisabeth Rohm of “Law & Order” fame has been cast as the Chief of Staff to the newly-minted President Timothy Michener on the show. There is no name for the character just yet, but she is described as being extremely sharp-minded and more than prepare to do the job. This is a cool casting for the show, especially since you’re going to see Rohm throughout the season.
The third season is potentially going to have even more of a global feel than any other batch of episodes to date, mostly because of the fact that Eric Dane’s Chandler has been instilled with some more power by Michener to control the Navy. This means that he is going to have to work harder than ever not only to protect those in need, but also to improve the reputation of the military further in the post-apocalyptic world. Thanks to everything that we saw with the Immunes in season 2, this proved to be a harder task than it first seemed.
The new season of the show is going to be premiering on TNT at some point in the summer, and thanks to us being so early in production, we are going to have some more news related to the show most likely in the near future.
