‘Chicago Fire’ season 4, episode 3 video: Taylor Kinney and an elevator rescue

Chicago Fire -Tuesday night’s new episode of “Chicago Fire” is almost upon us, and for those of you who enjoy difficult rescues, it may be fair to say that this particular installment is going to be right up your alley.

The sneak peek below puts Severide (Taylor Kinney) in the spotlight, as the character struggles to figure out the proper way in order to facilitate an elevator rescue that is far more complicated than it first seems. This is probably complicated even more by the character’s current mindset, where he is trying just about everything in his power to prove himself in the midst of a recent demotion and difficult bosses.

For those of you who are wanting further story context, though, this preview is not the best. We know that Casey and Dawson are going to continue working towards a better future, and there will be an Internal Affairs investigation on Firehouse 51 that puts everyone through a great deal of stress.

The last thing that we’ll say about this sneak peek is that it’s almost a bizarre “Vampire Diaries” reunion to see Kinney and Stephen R. McQueen working together, even though that show is still on the air over on The CW. There is going to be a big story for McQueen’s Jimmy in this episode, as his brother is going to look to get him transferred to another house. Whether or not he is successful is something that we’re going to have to figure out over the course of the hour. We’ll have a further preview after this episode airs.
