‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9, episode 6 video: Kaley Cuoco’s Penny learns about dating apps

Big Bang Theory -Here’s the thing with Penny on “The Big Bang Theory“: She’s been out of the dating game for a little while thanks to Leonard. While she may have been fully aware of the latest trends and innovations a good decade ago, a lot of time has passed since then. She’s now having to play catch-up to what the young folks are doing.

In the sneak peek below, she and another woman in a long-term relationship-turned-marriage in Bernadette learn a thing or two about dating and technology thanks to Stuart. Even though he is offscreen in the scene, apparently he has been using a new app that allowed him to find a date. Thanks to this, Kaley Cuoco and Melissa Rauch’s characters plan to use this in order to find Amy a date potentially. The app sounds a little bit like Tinder, though the truth here is that we also are pretty ignorant as to what is being used out there in modern-day dating.

The philosophy for the ladies seems to be fairly simple here: If Stuart can find a date with it, couldn’t the same be true for almost anyone? Yes, the show continually tries to pain Stuart as the most pathetic person imaginable, but it also has to now given that some of the other guys are doing so well. They do like to have someone in this position.
