‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 4 preview: The search for a new Firestorm

Flash -

Did you really think that “The Flash” would go a long time before introducing a new Firestorm? He is an important part of the upcoming “Legends of Tomorrow,” which is great since his powers are still so abstract nobody really knows what he can and cannot do. Without Ronnie Raymond around, next week’s new episode entitled “The Fury of Firestorm” will introduce a hunt for a new version of the character, one who will allow Dr. Stein to be complete once more.

If you have not seen the synopsis below for this episode before now, you’re in for a treat:

“Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team look for another Firestorm match for Dr. Stein (Victor Garber). When the team meets Jefferson “Jax” Jackson (guest star Franz Drameh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) has her reservations about whether Jax is the right match for Dr. Stein. Iris (Candice Patton) surprises Joe (Jesse L. Martin) while Barry and Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) grow closer.”

The only part of this story that we could see being a little frustrating is that you know that Zoom is the Big Bad, but you may be waiting still for a little while longer in order to see this character in action. This story is important for “The Flash” universe sure, but it is even more significant thanks to “Legends of Tomorrow,” which is premiering in the new year. Who knows? Maybe there will also be a Zoom cliffhanger at some point in here, given that this is something that we have seen in the vast majority of episodes so far.
