‘Madam Secretary’ season 2, episode 4 preview: Can Elizabeth, Henry protect Stevie from the press?
When Stevie chose to make some the decisions that she did at the end of “Madam Secretary” season 1, the entire McCord family had to be very much aware of the fact that with these decisions could come consequences. This is an era where the media is more invasive than ever, and they want to more or less know what you’re doing and who you are spending time with every single second of the day.
With this in mind, let’s carry the story forward into next week’s new episode entitled “Waiting for Taleju.” This story is going to give you insight into everything that we just mentioned when it comes to Elizabeth’s family life, but politically the Secretary of State could also find herself in a little bit of trouble thanks to how she and President Dalton are at odds over dealings with Russia. The synopsis below offers up a little more insight into what to expect:
“Elizabeth finds herself pushed out of the President’s inner circle after she disagrees with his response to the growing tension with Russia. Also, when incriminating photos of Stevie and Harrison surface, Elizabeth and Henry must deal with the aftermath and try to protect their daughter from the media.”
Given that we don’t think either one of these stories are of the persuasion where they are going to be resolved fairly quickly, we imagine that this will probably be something that we get a chance to discuss and debate for some time. Stay tuned, as we’ll have further updates as they come out.
