‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 21 preview: Will Maya, Lucas talk as ‘Girl Meets Texas’ continues?

The “Girl Meets World” special “Girl Meets Texas” is continuing with its second part on Saturday night, and this event will give you a much better sense as to whether or not the aftermath of Friday’s episode is meant to stick.

If you remember from the end of that episode, Maya admitted to at least some feelings for Lucas in a conversation with Riley, which led to Rowan Blanchard’s character rightfully assuming that this meant her best friend had feelings for him. As a result of this, she did her part to put distance between herself and Lucas by telling him that she loves him “like a brother.” To think, these people are so young and this is already so complicated.

So is Maya going to actually admit to Lucas how she feels? That’s the question going into Part 2, and even if she does, there’s no guarantee that Lucas is going to feel the same way. As a matter of fact, it’s more likely that he will not given the way that he was reacting to Miley on this past episode.

Hopefully, we’re going to get a better sense as to all of this moving forward, but for the time being, we’d say that our expectations are probably pretty low that anything is going to be resolved in Part 2. Instead, you’re going to get a chance to see Farkle devour some barbecue, a country-music concert, and also Riley questioning whether or not she said the wrong thing. Even the thumbnail to the promo video below makes you question whether or not she did.
