‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 2 spoilers: Neal McDonough on playing Damien Darhk

Damien -We may only be a single episode into “Arrow” season 4 at the moment, but to us, there’s no question on whether or not we are enjoying Damien Darhk. The man is entertainment gold! He’s a very different villain than we are accustomed to seeing, mostly because he’s so upfront about who he is and is not even remotely afraid to use violent means to get it. He also probably carries around with him a certain sense that he is untouchable. How would he not when you consider that this is a man of virtually no weakness?

Neal McDonough is the man responsible for bringing this Big Bad to life, and we’re going to see a lot of him over time. However, as business-like as he may seem now, it seems that when things do not go his way over the course of the fourth season, you can only expect to see him become crazier and crazier. Here is what the man had to say to Entertainment Weekly:

“There’s no stopping him. If I have to destroy the whole world… He’s such a megalomaniac, no one’s going to stop him. As the year progresses, he gets more impatient and childish in his antics and he starts to really unravel. We’re starting to get at that now, but the second half of the season will be very fun to play. He won’t be looking as polished as he has been in the first third of the year. By the end of the season, I’m sure he’ll be crazy.”

Given that we learned recently that Darhk is also going to surface on both “The Flash” and “Legends of Tomorrow” at some point, it’s starting to seem like it may be all-hands-on-deck eventually in an effort to stop this man and HIVE from whatever they want to achieve.
