‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ preview: How Joe Giudice is handling Teresa’s imprisonment

On Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, there is a very different sort of special tied to “The Real Housewives” franchise on Bravo. It has been a long time since the “New Jersey” franchise has aired, and the biggest reason for that is fairly simple: Teresa Giudice is in prison. While she is not the only person who is a part of the show, she is one of the biggest stars and admittedly, much of the franchise’s success is tied to her story.

This special is meant for the most part to show you how the family is coming with her 15-month prison sentence, and how even with her behind bars, she is still controlling much of how the family operates. The synopsis below gives you a little more insight into what is going on:

“Six months into Teresa’s prison sentence, the Giudice family faces important milestones without their beloved matriarch–from Gia’s 8th grade prom to the anniversary of Joe’s father’s death. Extended family, including Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga, sister-in-law Melissa, and cousin Rosie Pierri, rally to support Joe Giudice and the girls as Teresa’s daily emails and calls prove that even though she may be absent, she still runs the house from the inside.”

One thing that may be coming out of this whole situation is that it may allow Teresa and her family to realize more that they shouldn’t spend so much of their time fighting. For years, this was what was going on between the two Joe’s with Teresa and Melissa having many arguments, as well.

Check out the preview below, which also features Joe Giudice’s concern about whether or not he could be deported.
