‘Quantico’ episode 3 preview: What lies ahead now for Priyanka Chopra, cast

On Sunday night’s episode of “Quantico,” you saw the journey of Alex Parrish continuing, and as a result of that, some major roadblocks thrown up in her way. One of the largest and most obvious ones is seeing how she is going to be able to successfully navigate as an agent with the entire country knowing her name, and knowing that she is the lead suspect in the attack.

To us, this is the most intriguing story of the series, and it does certainly beg the following question: Why does ABC continue to promote the show by featuring people taking off their clothes? The romance angle here is still far too strong than what it needs to be, and it’d be better off going a more “Homeland” route where it is around in little bursts here and there. That is just at least our read on it.

The synopsis below is a little bit clear in terms of what you can expect, and based on the fact that we are going to meet Alex’s mother, this is something we really would have liked to see:

“At Quantico, Alex finally receives information about her father and his FBI past, but in the future it’s her mother, Sita, who plays a key role when Liam convinces her to participate in a press conference on national television begging Alex to turn herself in. Also at “Quantico,” the NATS learn the art of profiling and focus on their classmates’ strengths and weaknesses, ultimately challenging their confidence and camaraderie.”

Are we being a little bit hard on the series at the moment? sure, but we would say that much of the reason for that is that we believe in it. We do think that it has the potential to be something more, so we will continue to take a hard look at some of what it is doing.
