‘Saturday Night Live’ preview: Miley Cyrus advises Leslie Jones on style

Look at Leslie Jones! She has only been affiliated with “Saturday Night Live” for the past two years, but she now has the prestigious position of being in one of the promos for Saturday’s premiere episode. Think of this as an indictment on her achievements on the show, and then also her big-time movie role this summer in the “Ghostbusters” movie featuring herself and fellow cast member Kate McKinnon.

This promo for this weekend’s premiere features her alongside the night’s co-host in Miley Cyrus, and there is a fun back-and-forth here that begins with her hoisting the former “Hannah Montana” star in the air. From here, it turns to getting some not-so-needed accessory advice from someone who may be the queen of accessories and/or crazy outfits.

We don’t want to sound like a broken record, but we feel like when it comes to Miley being on this show, it is best to separate her antics as a performer to her actual talent as a sketch artist. She is legitimately funny and will probably do a great job on the show. Whether or not you like her music is a different story, but you can always skip over some of those performances if you so choose.

In general, we feel like “SNL” is starting things off with a fun run of hosts, starting with Miley and then going to Amy Schumer and then Tracy Morgan, who is making his big return and only his second TV appearance since nearly dying in a truck crash last year.
