Is ‘Big Brother 17’ new tonight on CBS?

Big Brother -

For the past several weeks, we have definitely grown accustomed to getting some excellent “Big Brother” on CBS Thursday night. While we did not necessarily like Johnny Mac going home in fourth place, it has shown itself time and time again to be a thoroughly entertaining season highlighted by big moves, big personalities, and also a ton of drama. This is one of the more competitive finishes we’ve seen; maybe you can say that Liz is not particularly likely to win the game, but she certainly has more going for her than at least one person in the final three each of the past few seasons.

Unfortunately, there is no more “Big Brother” on Thursdays, and fun time is officially over. Thanks to Thursday night football changing the game (yes, obvious joke), CBS moved the final four eviction to Wednesday, and there is no more of the show until Sunday.

In some ways, we’ve always considered the end of the “Big Brother” game somewhat strange, mostly because of the fact that there are such long stretches without episodes and action. we understand them wanting the “Big Brother” Sunday show there, but why not just make it the finale? We figure that it is because they don’t want to end against Sunday night football. Therefore, we’re just leaving people in the house for almost a week with nothing to do, which has to make this the most boring part of the season.

Luckily, we’re glad that we’ve had some good coverage for the show today. For example, head over here to get some reflections on this season courtesy of casting director Robyn Kass! Also, check out our email interview with John “Johnny Mac” McGuire from earlier today.
