‘Big Brother 17’ review: Was John McGuire, Liz Nolan, or Vanessa Rousso evicted? (Live updates)

LizIt’s sad to think that Wednesday night marks one of the final episodes of “Big Brother 17.” There are only two more that come after this included the 90-minute finale, and tonight we’re going to see four officially become three.

We began tonight with Vanessa crying, which is more or less the same thing that we’ve seen from her time and time again. This is just a part of her shtick, and at this point nobody actually believes the endless parade of tears anymore. The same goes for Steve needing hugs. It was nice to see how the formation of all of this began mere minutes before the live show started, which was a time when we didn’t have live feeds.

Also, we got a chance to see Vanessa further solidify her final two deals with everyone, which really doesn’t matter that much at all since she knows that either Johnny Mac or Liz will be gone if she stays. She and John were nominated, not that it really matters much.

Jury house segment – Hey, Austin is still bitter! We’d like to see how his quest to cost Vanessa the win goes, since it easily could lead to everyone giving her the vote just to spite him. Shelli is firmly in her corner.

Brenchel – They’re expecting! Read more here.

Veto and Eviction – We knew that Vanessa won the Veto thanks to the live feeds last night, and really the only bit of drama that came from this was figuring out if she was going to evict either Liz or Johnny Mac. Of course, she eliminated John saying that she couldn’t trust any deals that they had, which he knew. It was probably the right move for to make, at least in that we think that Liz is much more likely to take her to the end than John is.

HoH – We’re going to detail that soon over at the link here. Stay tuned!
