‘Switched at Birth’ season 4, episode 14 video: Bay’s ‘job interview’

Monday night’s “Switched at Birth” episode will take on a variety of different stories, but rather than focus on the more serious ones in the sneak peek below, we’re going to instead focus on some of the fun.

Specifically, here is how we describe this scene: Bay realizes that she needs to get some more money together in the event that she gets a chance to take part in the Frida Kahlo program, and what better way is there to earn cash than to work at the Cracked Mug? With this, we begin what is one of the funnier / more entertaining job interviews we’ve seen in some time. Angela makes it pretty clear what the “requirements” are … and then she just goes ahead and hires her.

In the end, this just makes sense for all parties. The coffee house needs another barista right now to confront a busy season for them, and it marks another place we could see Bay over the rest of the season.

Aside from the job and the purpose of the scene, this was just a fun clip to watch! For now, we just advise you to appreciate it for what it is (a happy moment for the two characters), since it’s possible that there are some darker times ahead since their traditionally is with this show. Maybe this won’t happen and Bay will have a more upbeat stretch of episodes coming up … but at this point we like to prepare for the worst. We haven’t forgotten about the first half of the season just yet.
