‘The Flash’ season 2 promo has Jay Garrick, Atom-Smasher, and Peyton List

While fans of “The Flash” are still eagerly waiting to see if The CW ever releases a full trailer for the show, we can at least rejoice (at least for the time being) that the network has unveiled a brand-new promo that is slightly longer than the others that they have put out there since Comic-Con … and you can see that below.

One of the biggest duties of this promo is bringing us more of Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears), who comes seemingly from another world to warn Barry Allen that there are some more dangers coming in his direction. There are consequences to the singularity, and some of them could be severe.

From here, we do get more in the way of footage on Atom-Smasher, and get a slightly better idea how the show is going to work around some of the special-effects limitations of having a giant dude rampaging his way through Central City. Since Grodd, this is probably one of their most challenging feats that the show has attempted.

Also, we do get a quick glimpse at the return of Peyton List as Lisa Snart a.k.a. the Golden Glider. Yet again, she flirts a little bit with Cisco, but we really don’t see it going very well for him in the end. The guy has to remind himself that she’s probably up to no good! Sadly, we’re still waiting to figure out whether or not Lisa is going to turn up on the upcoming “Legends of Tomorrow,” given that Captain Cold a.k.a. her brother Leonard will be very present there.
