‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Steve breaks the news
While you may not have liked the way that Steve handled his Head of Household on “Big Brother 17” the first time (we’d make a case that he did at least do a good job not ticking one off), he’s batting a thousand with his second one right now. Granted, it is pretty hard for him to screw this one up with only six people left in the house.
While the nomination ceremony will not be happening until later today, Steve already told both Austin and Liz that he would be nominating them. This is the first time all game that Austin has been on the block, and he doesn’t seem to be that upset about it ultimately. We do think that Austin wants to win contrary to what he’s said here and there about Liz throughout the game, but he’s also not particularly bitter at Steve for thinking logically at this point. He knows that it’s crazy that a showmance made it so deep into the game; Jeff and Jordan made it to the final five in season 11, but they also had the support of most of America behind them.
Liz is a little more upset about it, given that she never nominated Steve in any of the instances she had power. He told her that since he was not nominating the twins together, he was still giving them a chance but there was only so much he was willing to do at this point. She’s a little more upset, and getting some comfort from Austin and his gigantic arms at the moment.
As we’ve said all day, none of this matters as much as who wins the Veto. They will determine whether or not the nominations stay the same; so long as Julia does not win (everyone is playing now), Steve should be fine.
