‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Double eviction expectations; plus, who do we blame?
We’re closing in now on the “Big Brother 17” Double Eviction, and it feels at this point like the time is right to call the vote: Unless something changes at literally the last minute, Meg is going to be evicted from the game.
Steve did seriously consider making a move on the twins for a long time, but he was thrown off thanks to a conversation this morning with Vanessa, plus frequent assurances that he would not be targeted next. Whether or not this is the right move is something that we’ll learn over time; it’s a safer move to not be evicted in seventh place, but it will be harder for him to make it to the end, and if he does, make a case for the money.
While we blame Steve in part for not seeing it, we also have to also throw a little blame in the direction of both James and Meg. We love the two of them as entertainment this season, but they just don’t have that killer instinct that they need to survive in this game. Both of them could have pushed much harder, but have spent too much time being resigned to Meg’s fate this week and goofing off. It’s really been their problem for most of the game: Hoping that James wins a competition, and that their likability and social game will get them really far. There’s a point where being likable is threatening, and they are too far behind strategically to catch up.
It’s very well possible tonight that James exits the house right after Meg does, but we’d say that for now Johnny Mac is also in danger if someone like Austin or Liz wins Head of Household. Steve may end up also targeting James out of fear of making waves, while a Johnny Mac win would probably be the most entertaining. He’d probably take a direct shot at Austwins, and should be able to get one of them out of the game.
