‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Are Steve and John considering a move?

We hoped that eventually there would be a huge debate on “Big Brother 17” as to who to keep in the house, and we are happy at the moment to say that the time for the debate is here.

This afternoon, both Steve and Johnny Mac have each considered at least briefly the idea of keeping James and Meg around together, and evicting Julia instead. They both are aware of this being an incredibly risky play, but there is a question that they really have to be asking each other right now: Do they really want to be in a position where a three-person alliance continues to chug along all the way close to the end?

We feel like if Steve was a little more of an independent thinker at this point, the odds of him actually going along with evicting Julia would be reasonably high. Herein lies the major problem here: Vanessa can manipulate the heck out of him, and she has tonight by going back and forth on many things and making it clear at one point that if he gets rid of Julia, he is a “traitor.” She’s also spun it that James would target if him if Meg stays around, even though Steve would be responsible for that.

The biggest flaw in Steve’s game right now is that he is holding onto some perceived animosity from his Head of Household reign during the double-eviction much more than he should. Not only that, but he is also putting way too much stock in Vanessa when she’d cut him without even blinking if it helped her game.
