‘Ink Master’ season 6, episode 10 podcast: Jessa, Bart on Dave Clarke elimination, Craig Foster, Chris Blinston
There was a lot happening on this week’s episode of “Ink Master” season 6 and a lot of it was involving Chris Blinston. He is playing a really great game this season, not only because he’s been producing some really dynamic tattoos, but also his strategic game is on point. We love a good strategic game, so Chris Blinston’s moves have had us very excited this season, but things started to unravel for him this week when he had to share his skull picks with Craig and his target was Chris’ alliance member Dave Clarke.
This week on the CarterMatt “Ink Master” podcast, Jessa and Bart are going to be talking about Chris’ alliance and how it has begun to crack. Craig was targeting Dave and Chris agreed to look the other way while Craig gave Dave a tough canvas and in return Chris was going to get to take a swing (and a miss) at Katie. What was really interesting about it all was how Chris tried to turn it around when confronted by Dave for letting Craig give him a bad canvas. Did Dave buy into Chris explanation that he chose to go up against Craig as a way of having Dave’s back? He didn’t look impressed with Chris and we think it that even though Tyler is Chris apprentice, that it opened Tyler’s eyes to what might come down the road for him at some point.
Also, we will be talking about Dave’s elimination and how surprised we were by this. Dave has been consistently pretty great through out this competition and we felt confident that he would be going to the finals, but one bad tattoo sent him home over Duffy, who has been in the bottom many times over the course of the season. Dave may have had a rough tattoo, but we aren’t sure that he should’ve gone home and we will be dissecting that on this week’s podcast.
