‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Steve and Vanessa’s worst fear for the week
For the most part, the “Big Brother 17” house was pretty quiet last night save for Julia making some sort of mask out of tinfoil and saran wrap to try to scare Austin. Most of the players just aren’t thinking strategically other than Vanessa, who is always thinking strategically. This is why she still has a good path to the end, even if most of the house is on to specifically what her game is.
The most interesting conversation came last night between Vanessa and Steve, one where she could not completely figure out what to do in the event that James wins the Veto and takes himself off the block. Unless she nominates Julia as a replacement nominee against Meg, Austin and the twins will more or less control the vote. Vanessa knows that it is hard to guarantee that anyone in the game leaves over Meg, who is useless in competitions and really isn’t that great of a strategist, either.
Vanessa’s biggest fear with the Austwins is that she hasn’t ticked them off just yet, and she has ticked off almost everyone else in the game. Nominating Julia could cause problems for her there, and she knows that if she puts up Johnny Mac as the replacement nominee, there’s a great chance that he will be voted out and she will be left with Steve as her only real #1 ally.
For those speculating already about the Veto comp, it is interesting that there was little construction last night. We feel like either this is some unorthodox competition (maybe something indoors given the heat this weekend?), or something that is easy to put together. It’s been a while since we’ve seen one with costumes or punishments, and if this is one of those “how bad do you want it?” competitions, we could see James doing anything from shaving his head to chum baths in order to stay.
