‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: The early nomination plans; competition ‘controversy’
We are once again at the final eight this week in the “Big Brother” house, and with the buyback twist now completely over, there are some chances for players to make big moves in order to stick around and actually win in the long-term.
Now, we come to our portion of the article where we give Vanessa a little bit of credit. As it turns out, it doesn’t seem like she was being completely phony to Johnny Mac during his final days in the game over the past week. She told him that she wanted to work with him in the event he came back, and that has now happened. As a result, she is now trying to keep him off the block for eviction.
At the moment, Vanessa has told John / Steve that she wants to work with them, realizing that there is only so long that being with Austin and the twins will work given that she is #4 in their alliance. She does not want to target them outright, but instead make a safe move in go after Meg and James. This way, she takes away some of the Brass Tacks options for Austwins, and probably forces them to work closer with her rather than the alternative. She feels at the moment like keeping John, despite the protests of Austin and Liz, is better for her game.
Given that Vanessa likes to have “a reason” for nominating people, she claims that neither Meg nor James congratulated her after she won tonight. Seriously.
Of course, Twitter is still angry that Vanessa won this competition in the first place, and there are some arguments that either she broke the rules by sitting, or not everyone understood the rules. Our understanding is that you could sit, provided that your feet were still touching the cylinder. We feel like if the rules were explained and certain people ignored them, that’s not our fault. We also only saw so much of the competition due to feed outages that it is hard to really know what took place.
