‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3 spoilers: Meet the new Inhuman Lash

Inhumans on Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” come in just about every shape and size, and you don’t have to look any further for examples of that than Lash, who is going to be turning up at some point in the early going during season 3.

So who is going to be playing this part? According to a report from TVLine, former NFL star turned actor Matthew Willig has been cast  in this role. He is a very imposing dude at 6’8”, and that is going to be a big part of this character. He has very specific ideas as to what should be done with Inhumans, but as executive producer Jeffrey Bell teases to the website, these ideas are not something that he will be all that willing to share:

“What’s nice about him is he’s a wild card … You don’t know why he is doing this — Does he have an agenda? Is he on somebody’s side? So we’ll be teasing that out over some episodes.”

Lash’s appearance is certainly further evidence that ABC is really planning to stretch out the Inhuman stories for as long as they possibly can this season, as we get closer to the formation of the Secret Warriors. We’ve already learned that Skye is now more or less going to be Daisy Johnson, and she will be sent down a very specific path over the course of the episodes ahead.

The new season of “Agents of SHIELD” is expected to start on ABC on Tuesday, September 29. Stay tuned for further updates.
