‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: First look at premiere (plus Grant Gustin tease)
The premiere of “The Flash” is coming on October 6, so doesn’t this feel like the right time to start seeing some teases on what we can expect to see this season?
“The Man Who Saved Central City” is currently the title for the premiere, and the photo above (via TVInsider) is your first look at some of the cast in the aftermath of the singularity. It’s hard to say how much we should read into anything here, but there are a couple of little things worth noting.
1. Barry’s suit in the background is the new version with the white background around the logo. Cheers to that!
2. As of right now, Harrison Wells and Ronnie Raymond are missing in action. Tom Cavanagh is still a regular, so his character is not gone from this world just yet. Meanwhile, we know Robbie Amell is appearing early on, but the show has been extremely secretive about his future on this show and on “Legends of Tomorrow”.
Per the aforementioned site, here is what star Grant Gustin had to say about how the show is picking back up:
“We pick up about six months later, and we’re going to piece together how the storm has affected everyone … It’s not as different as you’d think, but as we move forward, some things will blow fans’ minds.”
We’re ultimately going to be in for a wild ride this season. Professor Zoom appears to be the Big Bad, but at the moment we haven’t really heard too much about who is going to be playing him, or what his impact on the show is going to be.
