‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Assorted craziness featuring Vanessa, Liz, Austin, and more

LizWith the Veto Ceremony coming tomorrow, this has turned out to actually be a much more insane day in the “Big Brother 17” house than we envisioned that it would be going in. There’s still no confirmation on whether or not Vanessa is going to use the Power of Veto, and if she does, who Austin will nominate as a replacement.

We’ve learned at this point not to believe a whole lot of what Vanessa says, but for the most part we do believe her that she wants to work with Johnny Mac and Steve moving forward. The problem is that her desire to do that does not supersede her fear of ticking off Austin and the twins. Therefore, she will not use the Veto unless he is completely convinced that there is a better target out there, and she has done everything in her power to make James and even Meg at times a target. She’s mentioned James throwing Battle of the Block and the fact that he could win some competitions down the line.

Then again, the competitions are a reason to get rid of Steve, who would be good in any mental / memory competition, and moving forward these are as important to the game as the endurance ones that James is really great at.

One other thing that is helping Meg and James that is very much underrated at the moment is this: Austin and the twins really like having them around. Being likable and fun is almost manipulation in itself, and they would rather keep them than someone like Steve who they view as awkward.

On another note, Liz is worried that a planned “date” tonight with Austin will end up turning into him trying to make their relationship more serious, while he has unfinished business with a girlfriend back outside of the house. Remember that the Zingbot apparently brought this up earlier in the weekend, so this is probably fresh on her mind.
