‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Johnny Mac’s campaign to Vanessa

JohnWe have been saying for over a week now that if Johnny Mac and Vanessa on “Big Brother 17” could actually get on the same page, they would each get so much further … and now, that has actually happened.

Earlier today, these two had a lengthy conversation where they aired out many of their past issues. John claimed that his distrust in her stemmed from the very beginning with Audrey, but said that since he doesn’t really have anyone in the game other than Steve, he needs to find some new numbers. She could be one of them, and we actually think it’d be smart for Vanessa to use the Veto on him. If they could dispatch James this week, there would be a number of benefits for her game long-term:

1. It hinders the odds of an After Dark Crew / Goblins reunion. If Shelli, Jackie, or Becky enter the game, they will 100% work with James and Meg. Keeping John and Steve around is good, given they are not as close to Meg and James. Yes, there’s a chance Becky comes back and works with John, but the odds are lower.

2. It’s more numbers for Vanessa. She really cannot think that she is going to infiltrate a pair of twins and a showmance, can she? Her trust in Steve is iffy, and the two of them are going to have a hard time competing with the other three when we get to the final five or final four.

3. It’s someone else to take out Austin and the twins. If Becky or Shelli returns, they could target Vanessa much earlier than Johnny Mac could, if he really was genuine with what he said.

The problem with our theorizing is that Vanessa did go and tell Austin that she and John had an “honest” conversation, which sort of cancels out their discussed idea of still acting distant towards one another.
