‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: The early plans for new Head of Household

VanessaTonight of course has been fairly active in the “Big Brother” house, and it also poses the question: Was it really right for the Head of Household to have fought to win the competition? In the end, we feel like it was if for no other reason than his opponent at the very end.

The contest tonight came down to James and Austin, and thanks to what James did to Clay and Shelli earlier this season, Austin didn’t really trust him to keep him and the twins safe in the event that he was not in power. Granted, it seems like James doesn’t have too much to worry about for the week … at least right now.

Tonight, we’ve seen a lengthy conversation with Brass Tacks, the alliance of Austin, the twins, and then Meg and James. The plan for now seems to be nominating Johnny Mac and Steve, and then depending on what happens with the Veto, backdooring Vanessa. He already expressed that his fear with getting rid of her is that with her in jury, it’s almost like Shelli evicting Audrey where she then becomes a big threat. Austin is making an astute observation, but does he really need to be telling people this?

What makes matters a little complicated this week is that Julia wants to see James gone, and her reasoning is actually pretty sound. She doesn’t want James winning Head of Household and making a big move, and we also think there is another variable here: Whoever returns to the game at this point may be inclined to work with James and Meg. If you get rid of one more of them, you really neuter any possible that this alliance takes shape. James won’t win any memory comps, but he is an endurance threat.

Let’s go back to Vanessa for a minute here before we close this off. If Meg and James want to ensure that Austin does the move they want, they really have to feed his ego and make him think that it will produce this glorious TV moment and turn him into this legendary character. Austin loves himself almost as much as he loves Liz.
