‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3: New Adrianne Palicki – Nick Blood series (potentially) back on
For those of you who were out there wondering whether or not Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood were going to be sticking around Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” for the long-term, we’ve now got a firm answer for you: It doesn’t seem like it, if the plans currently slated work out.
According to a report from Deadline, ABC has ordered an official pilot for a new series from executive producers Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski. These two quietly developed a potential new series for the characters of Bobbi “Mockingbird” Morse and Lance Hunter. This show was quietly developed last season, but the network executives were not fond enough of it to order the series. Since that time, the show has underwent some changes, and apparently everyone behind the scenes really likes the concept.
To us, one of the most fascinating aspects of this is merely that Marvel has so many potential projects going at ABC, even though none of them are huge winners in the ratings these days. We imagine that one of the appeals of doing a standalone pilot for the Mockingbird show is that it can bring in new viewers, and not just potentially fans who saw them on SHIELD. If that was its only possible pool and only a percentage of those viewers watched, it’s possible that it would be canceled quickly.
The new season of “Agents of SHIELD” will air in late September, and you shouldn’t expect the new series to prohibit Palicki and Blood’s involvement in it, at least not in the early going.

It’s a yes from me. I’d say give it a go because I would definitely watch it! And I don’t think I’d be the only one…
