‘America’s Got Talent’ results: Did ‘Dunkin’ Save’ help Freckled Sky, 3 Shades of Blue, Ira?

AGTTonight’s “America’s Got Talent” marks the second results show of the season, and just like last week, we are here to help guide you through it piece by piece! Check back throughout the night for some further updates.

Dunkin’ Save – There is a little more drama going into this one than last week, where it felt pretty secured that we were going to keep Samantha Johnson and then likely Alondra Santos. There will probably be a worthy act who doesn’t make it through to the next round.

The acts that are chosen for the Dunkin’ Save this week are Ira, 3 Shades of Blue, and Freckled Sky. We’re somewhat surprised by this! The dance act was Howard Stern’s Golden Buzzer act! We think they will easily be the Dunkin’ Save recipient, and that from there, the band will probably beat Ira (who we’re shocked even made it this far).

Saved Acts – We’re first of all shocked that Uzeyer is through! We loved him, but America does not tend to vote often on these circus acts. The second, opera singer Arielle Baril, is not anywhere near as surprising. From here, the rest of the choices consist of people we thought would get through in Derek Hughes, Sharon Irving, and the Craig Lewis Band. At least two guaranteed variety acts are going to be going through.

Final results – America voted to save … Ira? Seriously? The only thing more shocking than this is seeing Freckled Sky go home over 3 Shades of Blue. This may be one of the most stunning eliminations ever at this point in the competition. We don’t agree with it; it’s no slight to the band, since we think they and Freckled Sky should have advanced. What a weird, disappointing night.
