‘Humans’ season 2: Premiere date speculation, more for AMC / Channel 4 drama

HumansHumans” is a show that AMC seems to be very much pleased to have, but at the same time, they seem to be more or less aware that this is also a very different sort of show than any other than the network has ever had as a part of their schedule. It is a British important, and one that is building up buzz from somewhere else before it comes to them. Yet, it still feels like a perfect entry in their lineup given its content, and the network needs a good science fiction entry that has nothing to do with zombies.

What you are left to wonder after tonight’s season 1 finale (the season is already over on Channel 4 in the UK) is just when the show will be coming back moving into season 2. After all, things could be different for AMC next summer, since “Fear the Walking Dead” will have a longer episode order. Is it possible that these two shows could share a night? Sure, but it is a little trickier in the event that you also have “Talking Dead” that could potentially come on next summer.

Maybe you move “Humans” season 2 to Saturdays and form a lineup featuring both it and “Hell on Wheels.” Or, maybe you follow the pattern of “Better Call Saul” and see how the show could fare on Mondays. The fact that AMC is having to consider some new programming lineups is a testament to the fact that they have built up so much content in the first place. They now have decisions that they really need to make! You also have to remember that the future of “Halt and Catch Fire” is still in the air.

No matter when the network airs it in terms of night, we anticipate “Humans” will be back on the air again next summer.
