‘Power’ season 2, episode 10 (finale) spoilers: Can Tasha get further away from Ghost?

The season 2 finale of “Power” is coming onto Starz this very weekend, and it appears already like it will be stuffed full of almost-constant twists, turns, and surprises. We’re not ruling out another character or two either dying or departing, and it is certainly sink-or-swim time for Ghost as he has to chart out what he really wants his future to be.

For Tasha, the time is clearly here for her to figure out the same thing. On this past episode, we saw her start to make a few moves to get away from all the chaos, and based on what Naturi Naughton had to say in a pre-finale interview with USA Today, this is probably going to continue:

“It’s gonna be more and more intense. Tasha is gonna be more and more of a boss as she continues to gain her independence from Ghost and you’ll be seeing her get a little more dangerous. Buckle up, it’s gonna be crazy!”

We’d be lying if we said that we were confident that Tasha will make it through the finale alive. She is the sort of character who could be a casualty, though we’d much rather see her find a way to escape on her own accord and find happiness elsewhere. In many ways, losing Tasha in this way, by her own choosing, would be even more painful to Ghost than having her killed. This way, he would know that she left particularly as a result of her actions, and she is making that choice to stay away.

We’ll get a chance to ultimately see what happens when “Power” airs on Starz Saturday night. Stay tuned for further updates along the way.
