‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Vanessa’s new ‘strategy’ as Veto Ceremony looms

VanessaDo you know how Vanessa tends to spend most of her time in “Big Brother” talking strategy and acting extremely paranoid? Well, tonight she has taken it upon herself to deliver a brand-new strategy: Being extremely nice to people to make them think that she could be a better person to live around than they give her credit for.

Let’s take a look briefly here at exhibit A: Her dishing out some compliments to Becky on her look. She also tried to dress up Steve earlier to make him feel better about himself, and she’s done less spinning around. She’s been told that she is not going up, but at the same time she’s a smart enough person to know that there is a chance. Being nice to Becky is at this point her only recourse, since Becky has already said that she does not want to make any more deals with people and she doesn’t like alliance talk (mostly just with her).

Earlier tonight, Johnny Mac and Steve had a talk where Steve started to clue in more to how Vanessa is playing him in terms of the social game, and John also helped him to pump the brakes on an idea that Julia likes him that way. That was something that was thrown out there a little earlier this week, but it was meant as a joke.

As of now, the plan to put Vanessa up as a replacement nominee is still in motion. For terminology-freaks, it’s not technically a backdoor since she got to play Veto. That word’s definition has just morphed so much over the past few years; it’s kind of like “floater” that was.
