‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Steve’s floater anger; also, a Dr. Will update!

steveThis afternoon the “Big Brother” live feeds are recovering somewhat from what is a tense Veto Ceremony, and it is starting to look like Vanessa may be able to rally together the numbers to get Clay evicted over Shelli this week (James did not use the Veto, if you missed that). Vanessa’s strength as a game-player is mostly that she does not really gift many other people with the ability to think for themselves. Case in point, her trying to convince the likes of Austin and Steve that Clay would be more likely to work with James if he stays, which probably isn’t that true but she can spin it really well.

Some other comedy from this afternoon included Vanessa convincing an angry Steve that despite whatever he may think about his game, he is a floater to many and that he will be targeted next week because of it. Once again, don’t actually think that would happen since getting rid of him right now is a waste of time. Steve’s endearing … but a little too socially awkward still to figure this game out. He never really evolved out of week 1 Ian Terry mode.

Dr. Will update – We thought we’d include this in the afternoon feed update, mostly because everyone loves Dr. Will Kirby (or should) and we were sent a notice about this earlier in the day. The “Big Brother” legend is appearing in an episode of the web soap “Youthful Daze,” playing a plastic surgeon that the Drew character reaches out to about a new face. (Hey, it’s a soap, remember?)

Here’s what Will had to say in a pretty awesome statement about the part:

“Since I don’t make my living in the entertainment industry I have the luxury of turning down projects that don’t intrigue me. I rarely do interviews and if something is just plain dumb, even if the money is good, I just won’t do it. I do love soaps however so my interest was piqued when Youthful Daze contacted me but naturally I was also wary of stunt casting. See, it’s hard to shake the stigma of unscripted television and I didn’t want a role just because of my reputation and notoriety as the best reality contestant of all time. After all, how many times have we seen a former reality contestants make fools of themselves on a scripted television show because they don’t have true talent? But once I started watching I couldn’t stop and ultimately I was thrilled to participate. Moreover, I really appreciated that Youthful Daze saw my craft and what I actually brought to the table. See, I didn’t want to do a web-series… I wanted to do a soap opera! And it just so happened that the soap opera I chose was on the web.”
