‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Vanessa, Steve in Operation Becky

We may have an addiction reporting “Big Brother” live feed updates today, given that we’ve probably reported on more of them today than we have at any other point so far this season. The problem is just that there is gold happening on the feeds, and there really has been from the moment that James lied through his teeth to convince Shelli to drop off so he could be Head of Household.

If you missed it, James has Shelli and Clay on the block right now for eviction, and the plan for him is to nominate either Liz or Julia as a replacement nominee in the event one of them wins the Veto. This is a really great plan for the most part, given that it is hard to envision many situations with the house being constructed as-is that we could potentially see both Clay and Shelli staying.

What is fairly interesting about the whole Sixth Sense alliance, though, is that despite its various (and obvious) cracks, it does still somehow find a way to stick together a lot of the time. That may be what happens this weekend, given that Vanessa is already trying to think of a way with the twins and Austin to get Becky up on the block as a potential replacement nominee and out the door. They can claim that she is a rat as some sort of reasoning, just in case James likes “empirical evidence” as much as some other people this season do.

The whole idea of getting Becky out hilarious seems to stem from Steve, who dislikes her with some sort of bizarre passion. For some reason Becky does have a tendency to rub some people the wrong way in the game, which is weird given that she does so much of the cleaning. His argument is that keeping Shelli and Clay around is good because the two of them are big targets that will take away from everyone else.

Granted, one of them has to win the Veto before any of this happens … and we’re not sure that Austin or the twins would, thinking that it is possible that that one of them could be the replacement nominees. James is still the decision-maker this week!
