‘UnREAL’ episode 9 spoilers: Prepare for Quinn’s big move

Just when you thought that Chet could not be a worse human being, we saw what he did with the production assistant on “UnREAL” last week. Superficially, it doesn’t make sense. This is a guy who seemingly wanted to be with Quinn for so long, and after he finally decided to split up with his wife for a huge chunk of money, he proposed to her! Everything was starting to happen for her … and then she found out what Chet was suddenly doing on the side.

At the end of this past episode, we saw her snag a USB drive that is in a safe, and the contents of that are still to a certain extent a mystery. We do figure that this is all part of a big plan for her, and this is something that Constance Zimmer (who is excellent on this show) explained further to The Hollywood Reporter:

“What Quinn has planned is not going to be pretty. She wanted to believe that the love was real and when she realizes it’s not? She does not hold back. She is going to get him where it hurts, and she does it in a way where even he’s surprised.”

We’re also very worried at the moment about what Quinn has planned for Rachel and Adam. Her own illusion of romance has been destroyed, and promos show her threatening that she will release the tape of Adam and Rachel together unless he goes through with a wedding on the show. Tough stuff.
