‘Bachelor in Paradise 2’ spoilers: More on Ashley Salter’s ambulance ride, Clare Crawley’s arrival

The second season of “Bachelor in Paradise” is just a week away now from airing, so what better time is there to start to prepare for some of its insanity? You know that there is going to be plenty of romance that takes place throughout the weeks ahead … or at least romance in the form of random dates with a camera crew present.

But what about some of the other aspects of the show? You’ve likely see in the promos now Ashley Salter being carried off via ambulance, and it appears now courtesy of an ABC synopsis that we know what happened to her. As you would imagine, it’s not as dramatic as it would first seem:

“Back at the house, Ashley S. becomes ill and must be taken by ambulance to the hospital. With dates being had and couples forming, all seems to be well in Paradise. That is until Clare from last season unexpectedly enters and changes everything.”

Ultimately, we’re not sure why Clare is showing up a little bit later, if for no other reason than that bringing people in randomly is a way to help stirring up a little bit of drama. That is a way to create all sort of chaos, and possibly disrupt things in a way that they would not be otherwise. Also, we know that Clare has some experience at Paradise already thanks to season 1, so she can show up a little late and figure out what the rules of the road are quickly.
