‘UnREAL’ episode 9 preview: Adam and Rachel’s connection; Faith’s future

UnREAL -There are only two episodes left on Lifetime’s “UnREAL” unfortunately, and by the time we make it to the end of the road here (at least for this season) we’re hoping to have answers on a variety of things … including whether or not Adam Cromwell is compelled to pick someone out of his remaining contenders. The problem here is that clearly, he has deeper feelings for Rachel than he does anyone who is actually there competing for his heart.

This is only going to get more complicated as time goes on, and in the sneak peek below Rachel clearly seems to realize just how messed-up and complicated this entire situation is. If her own relationship with Adam ruins the show, where does that leave her? She doesn’t want to just date Adam and have that be her entire life, but she also does have her own feelings for him that could end up getting in the way of the production. They already have given that the two just slept together.

As for the other sneak peek we have today, let’s just say that we consider this one particularly fun given that we’re starting to learn a little bit more about what Faith wants out of all of this: A refuge. She tells Adam that she wants to win, mostly because it would be a mutually beneficial relationship. She can help him help to set up his vineyard, while she can carry on her secret lesbian relationship and he can go out with whoever he wants.

The one problem here is that he seems ready to run away from the whole “living a lie” business, and this is something he’d be doing if he picks any one of the remaining contestants.

Neither one of these previews reference the elephant in the room we saw in the promo this past week, which is Quinn threatening Adam and Rachel to give her a wedding. Otherwise, she releases a tape of the two of them having sex to the public.
