‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Stop the madness!

AustinThe title of this particular “Big Brother 17” article is of course a reference to a famous line from “Shark Tank” judge Kevin O’Leary, but it feels very much appropriate to where we are right now in the game. What a weird, wacky past 24 hours it has been.

Let’s give you a little bit of a primer if you were understandably off doing other stuff last night. All the madness started when Vanessa decided after Clay won the Power of Veto that she would clue in Liz to the plan to backdoor Austin, but as she prepared to have her up, she, Shelli, and Clay started to have doubts about whether or not this was a good move for them and whether Becky, Jackie, and Johnny Mac had an alliance with Jason, Meg, and James. Liz cut bait with Austin to a certain extent in her chat with Vanessa, but her main theme throughout the day was that while she didn’t love him like he loved her, he was not acting maliciously towards the alliance and should be kept.

Vanessa flip-flopped on this so many times that you would think that she was a politician trying to appeal to different crowds. At first, she wanted to keep him. Then, she wanted to get rid of him. Then, she claimed she would keep him if he could give her a reason to do so. Then, she wanted to get rid of him, and then ultimately it seemed at the end of the night that he would stay and she would nominate Vanessa.

It’s hard to determine if this is the right move or not. When it comes to the alliance, we feel like it is beyond the shadow of a doubt since you are keeping people on your side who are not providing pure lip service. However, remember how Vanessa has went on this crusade against Liars? Well, she would be proving that she lied to Jackie and this Dark Moon alliance if she was to nominate Jackie as replacement. Because of how much she has over-thought this whole week, she has made herself into a big target and will be blamed for whatever ends up happening.
