‘The Fosters’ season 3 spoilers: The meaning of ‘Idyllwild’

As we get deeper into “The Fosters” season 3, more and more information is going to start to be unveiled … and at the same time, you may end up being surprised more and more along the way. It is hard to really know what else you can say after reading the synopsis below for”Idyllwild,” which is the ninth episode of the season coming up on Monday, August 10:

“The family heads to Idyllwild for Brandon’s music competition where long-held feelings are revealed and life-changing secrets are unveiled. Callie finds herself in danger of being hurt when she questions Carmen and Brooke’s motives directly. Mike witnesses an unexpected connection that may support Stef’s theory for finding the hit-and-run driver.”

First of all, it is somewhat nice to see the the show is remembering that Brandon and his passion for music are still very much out there, given that this was an element of the series that has been somewhat diminished over the course of the past few weeks. It’s also nice to even see a certain institution in the title of this episode.

More than anything, though, it appears to us very much like one of the biggest stories to come out of this episode could end up being simply what it builds to: The summer finale. We are getting close to it, and this will more than likely be the episode that leaves us on some sort of enormous shocker that people are actually going to be talking about for a lengthy period of time.
