‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: How ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ will factor in early

The FlashThe Flash” is going to have many goals throughout the early going of the second season. You have to solve the singularity, figure out what in the world is happening with Harrison Wells, and also determine how in the world we are going to see Professor Zoom enter the picture. He is seemingly the Big Bad for the second season, and Barry Allen may need to rely on Jay Garrick for a little bit of help in this department.

So how about “Legends of Tomorrow”? For all of those who want to see more of that show, have no fear: You are going to get a worthy introduction to some of the basic principles of this series in the early going. According to “Arrow” co-showrunner Marc Guggenheim’s comments per Entertainment Weekly, the first seven episodes of both of the CW’s established superhero shows are going to create a worthy introduction to the premise of the show. We already know that we’ll get our first real look at Hawkgirl on “The Flash” at some point in the early going there.

We imagine in our head that there will be almost a splintering off, where the first few episodes of “Legends of Tomorrow” will be tied closely into the established shows, and then it will go off more on its own. After all, Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell can’t appear in every episode! The guys do need to sleep at some point.

We will get a much better sense of what is coming starting in October, when both “Arrow” and “The Flash” ultimately premiere.
