‘The Bachelorette: The Men Tall All’ spoilers: How Nick Viall, Ian Thomson will be discussion points
Even though neither Nick Viall or Shawn Booth is going to be featured on “The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All” next week, you better believe that both parties are going to be a key discussion point.
Specifically, much of it will have to do with one of the most controversial moments of the entire season with Kaitlyn Bristowe: Her sleeping with Nick in Ireland, and then her decision to talk with Shawn about it, but really not any of the other men. Why is he suddenly more important for him to know the information than anyone else? It is a fair question, and something that the other guys deserve some sort of better answer to given that they probably found out in some sort of terrible way after the fact.
This is something that Chris Harrison discusses in teasing the special in a new interview with TV Guide:
“It’s going to be a phenomenal show. It wasn’t a lot of catty stuff, but more dealing with questions, like why she only told Shawn [about having sex]. We talked more to Ben [Higgins], who was the only one privy to the conversation with Shawn when she said, “You’re the one,” and he really exposed that whole night and what happened, which was very enlightening. And Ian will surprise people.”
As for how Ian could surprise us, the only logical conclusion is that maybe he tries to own up to some of what he did to Kaitlyn during the show and apologize for it. Given that the guy has the education that he does, he has to be smart enough to realize that there is no way he can come into this defensive, and expect the show or Kaitlyn to let him off the hook. Many guys seemed surprised when the outburst happened in the first place, so it will be interesting to hear where it came from.
Of course, we anticipate Ben getting a ton of airtime given the talk that he could be the next “Bachelor.”
